Tim Herr provides advice and counsel on entity formation and business structure, business processes, contract negotiation, mergers/acquisitions, and dispute resolution.

Tim received his B.A. in economics from University of California at Berkeley in 1983, and his J.D. from Hastings College of the Law, University of California in 1986.

Tim was admitted to the California Bar in 1986 and is licensed to practice before the U.S. District courts in the Northern, Eastern, and Central Districts of California.

He is also admitted for appellate practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal.

Tim has been admitted to practice Pro Hac Vice in the courts located in a number of states including Nevada, Montana and Tennessee.

Tim is a member in good standing of the Santa Clara County Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association and State Bar of California.

Tim serves on the arbitration panel of the Santa Clara Superior Court. Tim has represented clients both as outside counsel and as house counsel.

Tim primarily handles legal matters for small to medium size businesses. He provides advice and counsel on entity formation and business structure, business processes, contract negotiation, mergers/acquisitions, and dispute resolution.

His dispute resolution services include mediation, arbitration, and representing his clients in civil trials both in the lower as well as appellate courts.

He has handled everything from simple personal injury lawsuits to complex litigation involving antitrust and intellectual property issues as well as complex product liability claims.

His clients have included such things as Internet companies, lessors, entrepreneurs, automobile dealerships, semiconductor design houses, software designers, contractors, tow truck and limousine operators, manufacturers and sellers of computers and computer peripherals, dot com companies, non-profit organizations, insurance companies, sheet metal fabricators, professionals, and mom and pop businesses.
